Success the Mr. Rogers Way

I don’t think your success should be judged by how much money you make, or what job you have.  I know many people think that is what makes you successful, but I disagree.  I think that is a totally different subject.

If you try to do good and you’re willing to help when and where you can…if you are doing no harm to anyone…if you are generally happy and love what you do…then you are a success!  I think you are the only one who can determine if you are a success or not.

I think Fred Rogers summed it up beautifully…

“The thing I remember best about successful people I’ve met all through the years is their obvious delight in what they’re doing and it seems to have very little to do with worldly success. They just love what they’re doing, and they love it in front of others.”

    • I’ve been stuck in a couple of jobs I didn’t like because it was all I could find at the time, but I got out as soon as I could! Life is just too short to be miserable all of the time, in my opinion.
