A few posts back I wrote about a short story idea I have. I was excited to start it, but I wanted to make an outline first so I would have a better idea how to progress the story.
So, guess who hasn’t even made the outline yet? ahaha! I am terrible about follow through.
My days have just been flying by and I always think I will start these projects I want to do soon. But, unless I just start, I will never finish!!
This is very wise advice. I wonder if I will follow it?
What if you are taking a walk in the woods and find this?
Would you pass it by? Would you look around it to see if it’s attached to something? Would you open it? If you do open it, would you step through it? What could be on the other side?
Maybe, when you step through you are transported to another world! That opens up so many possibilities! It could be a barren and harsh world. It could be lush and beautiful and full of color. It could be a transporter that takes you to another place in our world. Or, it could just be a door that goes nowhere and serves no real purpose.
Unless it does have a purpose. Maybe, it is there to get your imagination going! Its purpose is to keep your brain working!
What do you think? Go through, or go around?
