Turkey Brain

It might be the turkey talking (I swear it does things to my brain), but I have been having conflicting thoughts this morning.  I want to make a post!  I want to write again.  I had this conversation with myself.

Me:  “I am going to start writing again!.”

Other Me:  “But, I don’t have anything worthwhile to say!”

Me:  “Well then, I won’t say anything worthwhile!  I will just type anything on my mind and see what happens.”

Other Me:  “Nobody wants to read that.  How boring.”

Me:  “That’s okay.  At least I will be writing.  And even if I am the only one reading, it will be out of my head!”

Other Me:  “Whatever, I guess.”

Me:  “Don’t take that tone with me, Missy!”

About right then, I decided it was getting a little weird, so I stopped thinking so much and just logged into WordPress.

I think for today, the following to-do list will be all I do.  Tomorrow, I will be productive!  Be safe out there on Black Friday!

  1. There are very few who are living exciting lives, saving the universe and all. We each just take the day as it comes and do our best. Share what you have and when you want.

  2. It’s the drivel that gets you started. Then you go read a few other blogs while you sip coffee and the inspiration for the next post magically appears on your brain wave horizon and next thing you know, you have another blog post.

For instance, I wrote about cheese yesterday. Absolute drivel. 😂
