Tomorrow at 7:30 in the morning, I go for my cancer screening. I have been trying to mentally prepare myself for this the last few days. All signs and symptoms point to cancer. I have been fasting today (liquid diet), and will be up at 2:00am in the dang morning taking the second dose of the laxative for the colonoscopy prep work. Sounds like fun, right? With the virus going around, this is the absolute worst time to be in a doctor office or hospital. I’ve been to two doctors this last week, and the hospital tomorrow! I do like a challenge.
I hope you all are staying safe and healthy. I will post when I can after tomorrow with the news, good or bad.
Prayers and hugs to you!!
we hope for good news and all paws are crossed !!!
We are sending prayers for a good outcome. Stay safe,
Sending you happy thoughts.
The prep is the absolute worst. The procedure itself isn’t bad at all. If they find something, they will remove it right then. Hopefully, whatever is there can be removed and you will be good to go.
A work friend of mine said a colonoscopy was great: you just fall asleep. I pray for good news for you, but at least by getting tested, you will know. Either case may lead to some blog posts!
I’ve had at least 5 colonoscopies. You lose count after awhile. I’d say it’s a pain in the @$$, but I doubt you feel up to laughing about it.
Wishing you the best of luck. If it’s polyps they can take out of your intestinal tract, that’s the best scenario.
