November!?

How did it happen?  How is it possible to be November 1st?  I swear yesterday was the Fourth of July and I woke up this morning (at 2:45 am, I might add) and it is November 1st!

Time flies by for me.  I go through days that are so long I don’t think I will make it, and then suddenly it’s a week later and I don’t know what happened.  ZOOOOM!

My life is just a circle of events that repeat over and over and over.  Work, try to sleep, work, try to sleep…well, you get the picture.  Do you feel as if your life is just a loop?  I did shake it up a bit by starting a very part-time cleaning business to go along with my private child care job.  I guess that’s progress!

I am finding that I like the cleaning job!  It is busy and the time flies by.  I get in a “zone” when cleaning and I think about deep thoughts.  I love it.  If I pick up more of these jobs, I will get something to play podcasts or music on and I will be set!  Cleaning pays better, too.  I shouldn’t judge, but like everyone else in the world I do judge a tiny bit.  I find it odd that someone will pay me $10 to $15 an hour to clean their bathrooms and kitchen but if I ask for more than $4 an hour to care for their children, it’s like I asked them to chop off an arm.  I guess I just don’t understand it.  But, I won’t argue!  I do love the kids and it can be rewarding.  I also love the cleaning.

I might be poor, but I am in a better mental place than I was a couple of months ago.  Therefore, I am back!
